Bangers & Mash

Classic bangers & mash featuring Myers of Keswick sausages with onion gravy. Pour yourself a pint, put on the telly and enjoy some classic pub grub!

Step 1
Use toothpick to poke 3 holes evenly across the body of the bangers
Flip bangers and repeat - poke 3 holes even across the other side

Step 2
Heat large pan over medium heat; add 1tbsp of oil
Heat for about 1 min or until oil is hot
Add bangers, and continuously roll around the pan for even golden brown color (~10-15 min)

Step 3
Heat small pot over medium heat
Add onion gravy
Bring to small boil and stir for ~90 sec

Step 4
Place mashed potatoes in microwave safe dish
Microwave for 1-2 min
Mix mashed potatoes (to spread heat & fluff up)

Step 5
Place mashed potatoes on bottom of plate
Nestle bangers into mashed potatoes
Ladle gravy onto bangers & garnish with chives
