A traditional savory and slightly sweet dish of stir-fried glass noodles and vegetables that is popular in Korean cuisine. No banchan included.
Step 1Heat large pan over medium high heatAdd marinated short rib (no oil needed)Cook and stir for 2-3 min (until meat browns)
Step 2Add mushrooms and a dash of cooking oilCook and stir for 2-3 min (until brown and soft)
Step 3Add glass noodles and half a cup of waterCook and stir for 1-2 min (until water evaporates and noodles soften)
Step 4Add onions & bell peppers, cook and stir for2-3 min. If you prefer spicy, add pepper oil andstir (optional)
Step 5Place cooked japchae onto plate(s)Garnish with egg strips & sesame seedsEnjoy!
